HAMMOND | Eighteen Purdue University Calumet School of Technology students have been inducted into Tau Alpha Pi national engineering technology honor society.

Tau Alpha Pi recognizes students who have compiled a minimum grade point average of 3.3 (on a scale of 4.0) for at least two consecutive semesters.

Student inductees, are: Hamad Abbadi, Ahmed Al Bukhamseen, Yaquob Almubark and Timothy Haan, all of Highland; Saleh Aldwais, Roy Sida and Ali Al-Sulaiman, all of Hammond; Abdulrahman Alnassar and Hasan Asiri, both of Munster; Jermain Banton and Kimberly Verduzco, both of Merrillville; Chris Gioiosa, of Dyer; Hector Dones, of Chicago; Joseph Dzialowy and Stephen Stocklen, both of Crestwood; Peter Lehotan, of Woodridge; Ryan Neis, of Park Forest; and Christian Nelson, Frankfort, Ill.
