HAMMOND | Some 242 Purdue University Calumet students will meet Thursday at the Student Union & Library building during Student Research Day to showcase projects they have advanced the past year.
There are 127 project presentations on the agenda.
The event seeks to promote, inspire and display opportunities by which PUC students learn through engagement, an experiential learning initiative of the university required of all students.
Each project includes a written summary and oral or poster presentation. Demonstrations begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue until 4:30 p.m.
Student researchers represent all six of PUC's academic schools: Engineering, Mathematics and Science, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Education, Management, Nursing and Technology.
