HAMMOND | Free tickets are available to a free screening of an inspiring movie, to be presented at Purdue University Calumet Friday morning, about senior citizens who shatter expectations of aging.

The movie, “Age of Champions,” focuses on the lives of a 100-year-old tennis champion, 86-year-old pole vaulter, octogenarian swimmers, and rough-and-tumble basketball-playing grandmothers.

Due to limited seating, reservations are required and can be made by phoning the Purdue Calumet Fitness Center at (219) 989-2175 by Thursday.

The screening of “Age of Champions” is sponsored by the Purdue Calumet Fitness Center and Healthways SilverSneakers Fitness Program.
