HAMMOND | A second man is facing a charge in connection with a purse snatching at the Walmart on 165th Street, Hammond Police Chief Brian Miller said.
John Ronald Mullins, 18, of Schererville, was charged with robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, a Class B felony, Miller said.
Mullins was charged along with Tyler Flores, 19, of Merrillville, who also is facing a felony robbery charge.
Police responded to the Walmart on Friday after a man threw a woman to the ground to steal her purse.
