Program seeking mentors

EAST CHICAGO | Communities In Schools of Lake County S.T.A.R.S. mentoring program hosts a session for those who would like to volunteer as mentors to high school students. A mentor is a caring adult willing to make a personal commitment to be involved with a student for four to six hours per month for one year. Mentors serve as a role model and help students see the importance and relevance of his/her education to career and life goals. Mentors also act as a resource in helping students find direction and exposing them to career opportunities. No experience is necessary. Club hosts trivia night

GRIFFITH | The Lake Central Gridiron Club sponsors a Trivia Night fundraiser to raise funds to host pasta dinners for the football team.
