HAMMOND | Mayor Thomas M. McDermott Jr. and the Hammond Port Authority invite you to join the fun at the Hammond Marina, 701 Casino Center Drive, Hammond on Aug. 10 for Venetian Night.

This year it’s all about country, “Bathing Suits and Cowboy Boots!”

Different beach games will be offered from from noon until 3 p.m. for children ages five to 12. There will also be great music featuring country band Highnoon starting at 6 p.m. The festivities will wind down with a spectacular fireworks show from the Mad Bomber.

There will be a beer garden, Whiting based Grillers will be selling food and our ship store will be open for hot dogs, sandwiches and ice crème.

Check out the boats and docks as our boaters compete for “Best Decorated Dock.” The Hammond Yacht Club will be open to the public for food and refreshments. Marina parking is free for the day and there is no charge for admission.
