HAMMOND | The Towle Youth Theater Ensemble will host auditions for its next production, "Clue, The Musical," at 7 p.m. Monday at the Towle Theater, 5205 Hohman Ave.

They are seeking five young men and three young women in grades 6 to 12, all strong singers and actors, for the fun and campy musical inspired by the famous board game.

Those auditioning should prepare 32 bars of an up-tempo Broadway-style song and provide sheet music in the proper key. Youth may also be asked to sing and read from the show.

Students from all throughout Northwest Indiana and the southern suburbs of Chicago are encouraged to audition. Those who audition and don’t make the cast, or anyone interested in off-stage/back-stage involvement, will work on small committees for the show including box office, tech and PR/marketing.

Wowing NWI audiences for three years with productions such as "Anne Frank and Me," "A Heart Divided" and "Laughing Stock," the next TYTE production will be directed by Managing Director Jeff Casey and Musical Director Elizabeth Tuazon.

The show will run Oct. 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27.
