Team games in bridge provide an alternative to regular pairs games. Normally, a player and his partner pit their abilities against all the other pairs in the room.

In a team game, a foursome works together, playing at least six hands against another team. Depending on the outcome, the computer will pair teams for the next round to play a comparable team determined by victory points.

The top 51 (there was a tie for 50) duplicate bridge players in master points for Highland and Calumet Township games are listed for March. The first six players all scored in double digits.

Top 50 for March: Yuan Hsu, Lou Nimnicht, Al Simmons, Dave Bigler, Joseph Chin, Ruth Westberg, Barbara Graegin, Steven Watson, Howard Schmid, Roger Sokol, David Mitzit, James Angell, Alan Geller, Carolyn Potasnik, John Goring, Indra Gupta, George Roeper, Patricia Mikuta, Wayne Hiser, Robert Butz, Jeff Vedeges, Faye Anderson, Alan Yngve, Robert Porter, Dolores Marshall, Lynne Kostopoulos, Tom Hallum, Thomas Bolton, Hilda Connor, Wayne Carpenter, Bill Kilbride, Anna Urick, Lois Edelstein, Robert Ferguson, Conrad Staudacher, James Beiriger, Carol Osgerby, Suzanne Mahn, Jane Krueger, Charles Schultz, Trudy McKamey, Arleen Bakota, Marilyn Ginzel, Donna Beach, Alta Allen, Mary Schumm, Beth Rader, Char Kleeman, Barbara Stroud and Catherine Mason
