HIGHLAND | Visit with the Easter Bunny and an array of mascots and story characters at a Breakfast with the Easter Bunny hosted by the Highland Chamber of Commerce.
The Easter Bunny is bringing a whole host of his friends, including Barbie, Hubert the Lion, Mario, Barney, Rusty the RailCat, Ollie the Owl, Pompy Bear and Batman. There will be special appearances by a McDonald’s character, Texas Corral Cowboy and The Incredible Pulp.
The event will be held March 23, with seatings at 9 and 10:30 a.m., at the Highland High School Cafeteria, 9135 Erie St.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and are available at Lincoln Center, 2450 Lincoln St., and the Highland Chamber of Commerce office, 8536 Kennedy Ave. The cost is $6 per person, or $15 for a combo offer of two tickets and photo ticket.
Enjoy a continental breakfast of doughnuts, bananas, grapes, granola bars, Rice Krispie treats, milk and juice. Children will have the opportunity to have a photo taken with the Easter Bunny and receive autographed photos from Barbie.
Easter basket raffles will be available. Two lucky youngsters will also win bicycles donated by Kuiper Funeral Home and Ultra Foods. Drawings will be at 9:30 and 11 a.m., and the winner must be present.
