HIGHLAND | One of this decade's most inspiring moments was on May 2, 2011 when seal team six killed Al Qaeda Leader Osama Bin Laden.

One year later an inspired director (Kathryn Bigelow) composed a movie to accurately portray the event. This movie is 'Zero Dark Thirty.' But will this movie hold up with the popularity of other current movies such as Argo or Flight? That's why it is being put to the test.

'Zero Dark Thirty' does accurately portray the events involved with the killing of Osama Bin Laden but it takes an eternity to do so. I would have never expected it to take so long. The movie is heavily featured on its combat aspect and shooting scenes when in reality a miniscule amount of shots were fired between all characters. Only about four people were shot in total, which was a big let down for the climax. The bulk of the movie is slow and very concentration consuming in order to follow the events.

The majority of the movie is pretty much useless car bomb scenes and large incrimates of talking. The last twenty minutes or so were worth the wait, it is filled with action and excitement. By the end of the movie's introduction you almost want to kill yourself especially when random dialogue occurs like "They killed my monkeys."

The movie overall had nice visual and sound effects, as well as quality. I would reccommend seeing it but it was very long and some audience members actually started complaining and fell asleep. If you are interested in the "calm before the storm" (I was) and you are willing to wait for the ending invasion scene this movie is for you. The ending however was not very promising. Overall I give the movie a 3 out of 5 stars. Some aspects were better than others.
