Highland council promotes four veteran police officers

HIGHLAND | The Town Council on Monday held a special ceremony to promote four veteran police officers.

The ceremony included the presentation of new badges.

"The badges now reflect the rank as well," Clerk-Treasurer Michael Griffin said.

Cpls. Christopher Balbo and Randall Stewart were promoted to sergeant, while officers Glenn Cox and Erich Swisher became the department's newest corporals.
