HIGHLAND | The challenge is to try to solve the murders before the mystery writers as Highland High School presents its fall play, "Done To Death."

The fall play will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, in Monbeck Auditorium at Highland High School, 9135 Erie St.  Tickets are available at the door at $8 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. Veterans receive free admission with a valid military pass available from the School Town of Highland Administration Center.

The plot focuses on a group of once-famous mystery writers who involve the audience as they apply their own particular methods to solving various murders. The group includes a couple who write sophisticated murder novels, a young author of the James Bond school, a retired writer of the hard-hitting detective genre, and an aging queen of the logical murder mystery.

The story alternates between reality and imagination as the five mystery writers wrestle with the problem of writing a television mystery series while all around them mysterious murders occur.
