A Highland man was among 93 people arrested in a weekend sweep by Indiana excise police in Bloomington.
Officers took the 19-year old from Highland to the IU Health Bloomington Hospital after his blood alcohol content tested at 0.257 percent, state excise police said in a prepared release Sunday. The man's name was not released.
A total 56 people were arrested for underage possession or consumption of alcohol. Twenty of them were also charged with possession of false identification, police said in the release.
Several of those were also cited for falsely stating their ages to a licensed establishment. Four minors were arrested for being in a tavern or liquor store.
Seventeen adults were arrested for furnishing or providing alcohol to a minor.
