HIGHLAND | Saturday is the deadline to enter Lake County Right to Life's Annual Oratory Contest.
The contest will be held at 1 p.m. March 16 at the Highland Public Library, 2841 Jewett St.
All high school juniors and seniors who reside in Lake County are welcome to enter. Topics are abortion, infanticide, euthanasia and embryonic stem cell research.
The first-place prize is $250 to the student and $200 to their teacher/coach, and second place will earn $150 to student. A freshman and sophomore contest will award $150 to the student winner.
