HIGHLAND | Find out what it means to be an OLG student by attending the open house from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Grace School, 3025 Highway Ave.
The open house kicks off Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 26 - Feb. 1, with Masses, school events and Someone Special Day planned for preschool through grade 8 students and their families, parishioners, and the community at large. The theme is "Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge, and Service."
Fully accredited by the State of Indiana, with a state licensed faculty, OLG boasts a low student/teacher ratio and full-day kindergarten and before- and after-school care.
Sacrament preparation and participation in Mass are included in the curriculum, and the school has a Computer Lab, Interactive White Boards and an Honors Program in grades 6 through 8.
Extracurriculars include athletics for boys and girls in grades 5 to 8, music, band, National Junior Honor Society, peer tutoring, academic tutoring, Student Council, clubs and community service projects.
A Home and School Association full lunch program is available, and the school uses an Online Grade and Information System.
There is a Tuition Reduction Incentive, Family Tuition Discount, scholarships and Indiana School Choice Voucher Program to help families with tuition costs
