Military veterans and active duty service members will be able to dine for free today or Monday at any Texas Corral location.
The gesture is in recognition of the service and sacrifices veterans have made to the country, a company announcement said.
Military personnel will be able to choose from several entrées, including soup or salad, coffee, iced tea or lemonade all day.
They will be asked to present one of the following as proof of service: a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, DD 214, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card or be dressed in uniform.
In Lake County, locations are at 9200 Indianapolis Blvd., Highland, and 312 W. Lincoln Highway, Merrillville.
