CROWN POINT | A pizza fundraiser to support the new anti-abortion political action committee Working Families United for Traditional Values in Northwest Indiana is from 4 to 9 p.m. at Carriage Court Pizza, 211 S. East St. The all-you-can-eat pizza and soft drink meal is $20 per person, $30 per couple and $40 per family.

C.P. starts holiday celebration

CROWN POINT | Crown Point kicks off the holiday season with a tree and tank lighting ceremony. Trees will be lighted at the Old Lake County Courthouse at 5:30 p.m. There will be carols sung by the Crown Point High School choir and a special presentation by the Harmony Hand Bells. Refreshments provided by Wittenberg Village. Directly after the tree lighting, the ceremony moves to Main and Goldsborough streets to join the city in lighting the military tank in support of U.S. troops.
