MUNSTER | Dharini Balajee, of Highland and Portland, Ore., has officially resigned from MUNCAB, the board that oversees Munster Cable TV.
The Munster Town Council thanked Balajee for her service and accepted her resignation letter. Her term would have expired in 2014.
Controversy surrounding the nonfunctioning Munster Cable TV programming format led to a reorganization of the entire MUNCAB operation.
In September, the Town Council approved a reorganization plan submitted by Town Manager Tom DeGiulio.
The town’s staff is working with the current MUNCAB committee to prepare a request for a proposal to find a production provider for the AT&T local access channel and online streaming on Munster’s website.
The MUNCAB committee determines the programming format.
