Bethel Church officials in Crown Point have announced the launch of two new locations in the next year and expansion of the Cedar Lake campus.
Bethel's first initiative is to establish a church in the Gary vicinity under the leadership of Ray Dix, who served for 20 years as senior pastor of Berean Fellowship Baptist Church in Gary.
Bethel is also launching a new church campus at Hobart High School, 2211 E. 10th St. The new facility offers state-of-the-art technology and ample space for kids' ministries and community fellowship.
The third initiative is to build a new auditorium for Bethel's Cedar Lake campus, 13620 Wicker Ave. The expansion will allow for additional seating and more space to host mid-week ministries.
To support the initiatives, Bethel is asking the congregation to raise $2 million in a fundraiser called Mission Them 2.0.
