HOBART | Center for Possibilities is celebrating Week of the Young Child through Friday with activities planned for parents and students.

Parents will receive a Center for Possibilities Cookbook that includes a collection of kid-friendly recipes that children can make on their own or as little helpers. A Book Swap is today at the school, 22 Tyler St. On Thursday, preschool parents will join students for a movie, games and treats at the school.

Center for Possibilities is a private, state-licensed child care center with more than 50 years of experience serving children 2 to 5 with developmental disabilities. The center provides full-day, full-year developmental preschool and toddler programs and individual, weekly therapy sessions, family support and nutrition programs.

Center for Possibilities also offers an Adult Learning Center for people 22 and older with developmental disabilities. The full-day, full-year adult program puts strong focus on the development of self-care skills and learning opportunities.

The center is taking registration for its summer camp program. Visit or call (219) 962-5751.
