Halloween trick or treat hours for the city of Hobart are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today. If you want to participate, turn on your porch light. Have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Last chance to visit

Hobart Jaycees will host the last night of its Haunted House from 7 to 11 p.m. today at its clubhouse, 18 E. Old Ridge Road, Hobart. The cost is $6 per person, or $5 with a canned good to be donated to the Hobart Food Pantry.

Serving up spaghetti

Spaghetti Supper time returns starting at 5 p.m. Saturday at St Stephen Episcopal Church, 1360 State St., Hobart. Enjoy an evening of fellowship and a good meal, desserts and coffee included, at a cost of $6 for adults and $3 for children 3 to 9; younger children eat free.

Meatless spaghetti sauce will be provided for vegetarians. For more information, call Sheila at (219) 364-2718.

Holly Bazaar is Monday

The Sewing Ladies from St. Mary Medical Center Auxiliary will present its Holly Bazaar, featuring a variety of beautiful handmade items, plus a bake sale, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday in Conference Rooms 3 and 3A in the west Lobby of St, Mary Medical Center, 1500 S. Lake Park Ave., Hobart.

Eat Italian with vets

Don’t cook on Nov. 8, bring your family to the Italian Buffet and salad bar at Hobart American Legion Post  54, 208 S. Linda St. The auxiliary will be serving Italian spaghetti complete with salad bar and dessert, at a cost of $8 for adults and $3 for children 9 and younger.

Proceeds will be used for community and veteran programs. Call (219) 947-2054 for mire information.

Veterans Day service

Hobart veteran groups will commemorate Veterans Day at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at Veterans Memorial Park, 5899 E. 73rd Ave.

Music will be provided by the Hobart High School Band. Veteran groups from the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and Marine Corps League will place wreaths.

Hobart High School Jr. ROTC members will be there to assist the elderly. After the ceremony, lunches are planned at Hobart American Legion Post 54, 208 S. Linda St., and Hobart VFW Post 5365, 540 S. Indiana St.

Business vendors welcome

Vendors are still welcome to sign up for the Hobart Business EXPO from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at Hobart County Line Orchard, 200 S. County Line Road, Hobart.
