The Rusty Pipes will present its Spring Band Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Hobart Middle School Auditorium, 38 E. Eighth St., Hobart. Selections will include "American Flourish Symphony from the New World," "Washington Gray March" and songs from "Les Miserables."
Tickets are $5, while students 18 and younger are admitted free. Cake, coffee and punch will be served after the concert. Future concerts will be held at the Flag Day Celebration June 14 at the Hobart Elks Lodge and at the Revelli Band Shell in Festival Park this summer.
Play crazy bunco
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 54 is hosting a Crazy Bunco Party at 1 p.m. May 5 at American Legion Post 54, 208 S. Linda St., Hobart.
There will be prizes, refreshments and a 50/50 drawing. This is Crazy Bunco, so throw out everything you know about bunco and come and have fun.

Hobart Elks Lodge, 3580 W. 61st Ave., Hobart, is seeking crafters for the fourth annual Women’s Expo on May 11 at the Elks Lodge.

Plant and garden sale
Hobart Garden club will hold its annual Plant and Garden Treasure Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18 at Festival Park, 111 E. Old Ridge Road, Hobart. They will offer perennials, annuals, garden treasures, household items and books.

Police start CAP
Hobart Police Department is starting a new trial outreach program at the Hobart Government Building, 705 E. Fourth St.
This Community Athletic Program (CAP) is designed to give Hobart Youth a safe place to hang out and get some exercise and provide interaction between the community and the police. The gym will be available for exercise and games, with a section set aside for study or just conversation.

Health fair for seniors

Miller’s Senior Living Community in Portage is hosting a Senior Health Fair from 9 a.m. to noon May 2 at Woodland Park, 2100 Willowcreek Road, Portage.
The fair will have many vendors who provide services for seniors. First Source Bank will be on site with a shredder to help destroy unwanted documents safely. A light lunch will be served at noon.
