HOBART | The John and Rosemarie Ehrhardt family members will serve as grand marshals in this year's July Fourth parade in Hobart.
The theme for the parade will be Celebrating the Hobart Family, Mike Adams said.
Adams serves at the executive director of the Hobart Chamber of Commerce.
Planning for the parade and associated events has begun, Adams said.
Celebrating the Hobart Family was the perfect theme to honor the Ehrhardt family, to include their son, daughters, significant others and their grandchildren, Adams said.
The Ehrhardts were informed of their selection Jan. 22 at Tom Ehrhardt's 76th birthday party, Adams said.
Ehrhardt, a former city councilman, serves on both the Plan Commission and the Board of Public Works.
