HOBART | Hobart Middle School students are studying compounds and mixtures. They learned that the ink from an Expo Vis-a-Vis wet erase marker is a homogeneous mixture.
Students separated the colors in the marker using kitchen paper towel cut into strips. They also drew a line one inch from the bottom of the paper towel and dipped the edge of the paper towel into water. The water was wicked up by the paper towel and the colors separated.
