HOBART | The high school EMT program at Hobart High School is full of students that care from Hobart , Chesterton, Valparaiso, Portage, Kouts, Morgan Township, Washington Township, and Boone Grove.

The juniors and seniors in this program will spend the school year learning the leadership skills necessary to take care of others in their time of need and have started the year thinking about kids and their families. They have collected over 4000 kid themed band-aids to donate to the pediatric unit at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart.

"For some sick kids, the one thing they look forward to at the end of their tests is a Scooby Doo band-aid and we wanted to give that to them" said Logan Allen, Hobart High School senior.
