HOBART | A 34-year-old Hobart man stole a 40-inch LED TV from HH Gregg on Christmas Eve, police said.

Roy Allan Adkisson was charged Wednesday with theft in Lake Criminal Court.

Police Lt. David Grissom was called to HH Gregg, 2757 E. 81st Ave., on a theft report, court documents state.

The store manager told police he wrote down the plate number of the car the man used, court documents state.

Police linked the plate number to an address in the 7300 block of Grand Boulevard where Adkisson lives, court documents state.

Police found the TV hidden behind children's toys inside the house, court documents state.
