HOBART | The 22-year-old neighbor of a Hobart couple broke into their house and stole a video game console and DVD, police said.

Evan William Austin, of Hobart, was charged Monday in Lake Superior Court with burglary.

Police said they were called Feb. 13 by residents in the 900 block of West Third Place about a burglary. Police arrived and followed footprints in the snow to a nearby home where Austin lives with his parents.

The homeowner said she spoke with an employee at Video Palace in Hobart and was told the items stolen from her home had been sold there, court records indicate.
