HOBART | Police accuse a 19-year-old Hobart man of stealing jewelry and a television from a home where he had lived and selling the items at pawn shops.

Antonio Miguel Moreno was charged with three counts of theft through Lake Criminal Court.

Police were called on Aug. 8 to a home in the 200 block of North Ohio Street on a report of missing jewelry.

A resident told police she believed her former roommate, Morena, had taken the jewelry because he had access to her room, court documents state.

During the investigation of the jewelry thefts, another resident at the North Ohio home told police a television and stand also were missing.

The theft of those items also was linked to Moreno, court documents state.
