HOBART | Two Hobart men pushed a 71-year-old woman to the ground and stole her purse, police said.
Joel William Bogdan, 19, and Kelly Rushing Jr., 18, were charged in Lake Superior Court with robbery resulting in bodily injury.
Police were called to Lake Park Restaurant, 7 E. Old Ridge Road, on Dec. 11 on a report of a strong-arm robbery, court documents state.
Five days later, following a second strong-arm robbery at a nearby gas station, a 13-year-old female suspect provided police with information about the first incident, court documents state.
The 13-year-old, who admitted to the second strong-arm robbery, told police she believed Bogdan and Rushing had committed the robbery at the restaurant, court documents state.
Police recovered the stolen purse in Rushing's garbage and found identification linked to Bogdan inside it, court documents state.
