HOBART | Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today for former Hobart Fire Chief Dale Hensley, 69, who died Monday.
After the service at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, there will be a procession to Fire House No. 1, 400 E. 10th St., Fire Chief Brian Taylor said.
A "last call" service will be at noon by the monument in front of Fire House No. 1 to honor Hensley, Taylor said.
Hensley served on the Hobart Fire Department for 30 years.
Mayor Brian Snedecor, a former Hobart police chief, on Wednesday praised Hensley's years of service to the city.
"I worked many years with Dale. He always gave 110 percent," Snedecor said.
