HOBART | A 19-year-old Hobart woman allegedly sold a Nintendo game system for $15 after receiving the stolen item from a friend, police said.
Shannon L. Conner was charged with conversion through Lake County court on Tuesday.
Police were contacted on June 21 by a Hobart resident who said her daughter had left her house and taken several items not belonging to her, including a cellphone and Nintendo game system.
Police contacted a local pawn shop and discovered some of the items had been sold there, including the Nintendo game system.
Conner told police she had received the game system from a friend and sold it, thinking she was doing her friend a favor.
