HOBART | The Lake County Parks Photography Club meets at the Deep River County Park Visitor Center, 9410 Old Lincoln Highway, on the second Wednesday of the month, April through November. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting at 7.
The Show and Tell topic for Tuesday is “water.” It can be in any form, just stretch your imagination and show what you come up with. Digital prints on a flash drive should be placed in their own folder for easy transfer with your name on them. Photographers aren’t limited to digital prints. Slides and printed pictures are more than welcome.
Adults interested in photography are invited to attend the free monthly meetings. From novice to professional, all are welcome. Members go on shoots together, learn about contests and other events, and exhibit their work in Wood’s Mill Gallery in the spring.
Upcoming topics are: May 14 - Flowers or Wildflowers; June 11 - Architectural Elements; July 9 - Street Art; Aug. 13 - House of Worship; Sept. 10 - Stop Action/Motion Blur; Oct. 8 - Reflections/Shadows; and Nov. 12 - Transportation.
