Both men told police they would be paid with either heroin or cash after they turned the merchandise over to Doss, court documents state.
The men committed forgery between Dec. 19 and Jan. 5 at Sprint Wireless, Macy's, Osterman's, Gander Mountain and Sears, court documents state.
