HEBRON | Thirteen people were arrested Sunday after police uncovered an apparent underage drinking party.
Police received a search warrant for 705 W. Wilson St. regarding an underage drinking party in progress. On the way to the residence, police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and found that those inside had just left the Wilson Street address. They were placed under arrest.
When police arrived, they arrested an additional 10 people on various charges.
Arrested were:
Chris S. McEllis, 22, of 705 W. Wilson St., Hebron, for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, furnishing alcohol to a minor, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana;
Jaymes L. Doyle, 24, of Munster, for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, posession of methamphetamine, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, furnishing alcohol to a minor, visiting a common nuisance and providing false identification;
Mark A. Denton, 23, 732 W. 900 South, Hebron, for visiting a common nuisance, furnishing alcohol to a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia;
Tiffany L. Hojcus and Lindsey J. Batchelor, both 20 and of Hebron; Brandon W. Anderson, 17, Ashly M. Koja, 18, Benjamin J. Colon-Hellstrom, 19, Michael J. Willey, 19, and Devin R. Sowers, 18, all of Hobart; and Brittnee R. Konja, 16, Portage; and Sabrina R. Smith, 20, Remington; all for visiting a common nuisance and minor consumption of alcohol, and
Joshua Q. Minto, 22, Hebron, for furnishing alcohol to a minor, contributing to the deliquency of a minor and visiting a common nuisance.
