CROWN POINT | Lake County prosecutors have charged two more men with having sex with a 13-year-old Lake Station girl.
Charged with a single count of child molesting each are Tevin Carlisle, 19, of Portage, and Kelly Rushing Jr., 19, of Hobart.
Also charged is 19-year-old Charles Nafus III, of Lake Station.
Nafus was previously charged in January in connection with the allegations along with Joel Bogdan, of Portage.
According to court documents, the girl told Hobart police she began having sex with Nafus in late August at her friend's house in Portage and had been spending almost every night with him recently.
The sexual encounters were verified by two of the girl's friends and by Nafus, who said he knew she was 13, police said.
The girl also told police she had had sex with Bogdan a few weeks earlier in Portage, court records state. She said he knew her age because they had talked about it, police said.
In court documents filed Friday, the girl told police she had sex with Carlisle in December while staying with Nafus in Lake Station.
The girl also told police she had sex with both Nafus and Rushing in December in the basement bedroom of Rushing's home in Hobart.
The girl admitted to having sex with several adult males in Lake and Porter counties, court documents state.
The alleged molestations came to light as part of an unrelated investigation, police said.
