HOBART | The NWI Parkinson’s Association will host its fifth annual educational symposium April 20 at Avalon Manor, 3550 U.S. 30.
Registration begins at 8:15 am. The program ends about 2:30 p.m.
The program costs $20 per person or $35 per couple, which includes one caregiver, family member, or friend and covers a continental breakfast, luncheon and all materials.
Topics will cover the latest in Parkinson's medications and treatments, memory issues, stem cell research, deep brain stimulation, gene therapy, voice therapy, sleep disorders, the value of exercise and types of exercise available in our area.
This event is for Parkinson's patients, caregivers, family members, health care professionals and the public. Continuing education credits are available for attending.
