HOBART | At least four Lake County pharmacies received prank bomb threats Tuesday night, Hobart police said.

Hobart police Sgt. Jeremy Ogden said an unidentified person called the CVS near 61st Avenue and Lake Park Avenue just before 8 p.m. and said a bomb was in the business.

Ogden said Hobart police and the Lake County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit searched the business and did not find a bomb.

He said pharmacies in Crown Point, Gary and Merrillville received similar threats Tuesday night. Officers determined there weren't bombs in any of those locations, Ogden said.

Ogden said detectives will continue investigating the threats.
