HOBART | Police are asking for public help in identifying who beheaded a sheep Sunday night or Monday morning, officials said.

Police said the sheep was killed in the 6900 block of Ainsworth Road between 7 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, Lake County sheriff's police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Michelle Dvorscak at (219) 755-3346, or the Lake County Sheriff's Department Report a Crime Hotline at (800) 750-2746.
