Portage woman charged with theft from Hobart employer

HOBART | A Portage woman pocketed cash from the register and from co-workers while employed at a Hobart business, police said.

Jordan Finley, 29, of Portage, was charged in Lake County court with four counts of conversion.

Police were contacted Dec. 4 by a manager at Piercing Pagoda about thefts from a cash drawer and from employees, court documents state.

During the course of an investigation, police discovered Finley had taken the money while employed at the store, court documents state.
