HOBART | Six year-old Susie Doom from Portage, raised over $1200.00 for Leukemia and Lymphoma. Susie raised most of this money, talking with people on her own.

Doom raised the money through a fundraiser with USA BMX, which was a race for life. The big race was held at the BMX Steel wheels track in Hobart on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday March 3.

Susie made a t-shirt with the names of all who have fought this horrible disease. Although she is battling her own health issues, she managed to raise the money and also participated in the BMX race.

Doom placed 2nd and received a trophy. Anyone that knows Susie, knows what a strong little girl she is.
