Mobile food pantry in Hobart

HOBART | The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana sets up temporary pantries in different locations around the region to serve those needing food assistance. The next pantry on the go is from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Hobart Elk's Lodge, 3580 W. 61st Ave. Free grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy and protein are given out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Bring bags or boxes to carry items. Bring valid proof of Indiana residence (driver’s license, state ID, utility bill, etc.) for service.

Lowell police discuss bullying

LOWELL | Lowell police will discuss bullying awareness for parents and address questions and concerns from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Lowell Public Library, 1505 E. Commercial Ave.

Alliance holds MAMMOthon

MUNSTER | Franciscan Alliance’s Spirit of Women program will host a MAMMOthon program, including digital mammogram screenings, free chair massages and giveaways from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Franciscan Hammond Clinic, 7905 Calumet Ave., Munster. Mammogram appointments are required and a limited number are available. Spaghetti's served at Andorra

SCHERERVILLE | Grimmer Middle School offers a spaghetti dinner and a student/staff talent show to benefit Riley Hospital for Children from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Andorra Banquet Hall, 1112 U.S. 41. Advance tickets available at Grimmer are $5 for students, $10 for adults. Tickets are $15 at the door.

'Cinderella' ballet performed

MERRILLVILLE | Indiana Ballet Theatre performs "Cinderella" from 7 to 9 p.m. a the Star Plaza Theater on U.S. 30 in Merrillville.
