Bring your costumed kids to trick or treat in downtown Hobart from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at participating merchants who display a table outside or an orange poster in their storefront.

Children’s activities will be available in the Third and Main streets corner parking lot, including face painting and a Halloween craft with Rhythm, Rhyme & Party Time. The Hobart Garden Club will create a fall photo spot and distribute flower bulbs. Suncrest Church volunteers will be popping corn. Be ready to do the Monster Mash with DJ Donny.

Walk or run with Santa

Spread holiday cheer while running through Hobart's downtown streets in the Santa Walk & Fun Run on Dec. 7.

This will be a great opportunity to have fun with family and friends and to keep off that bit of extra holiday weight while raising money for local charities. Check www.cityofhobart.org in November for more information.
