LAKE STATION | Indiana Legal Services will provide free legal assistance to parents from 9 a.m. to noon today at Edison Junior/Senior High School, 3304 Parkside Ave.

The visit by an attorney to the school is part of a special partnership between Indiana Legal Services and Lake Station Community Schools.

The free legal assistance is provided to parents with civil legal problems that might cause them to uproot their children from school and result in impeding their child's academic progress.

The attorney is fluent in English and Spanish.
