LAKE STATION | A Gary couple were charged with possession and dealing drugs after an undercover sting in Gary, Lake Station police said.
Eugene Walker and Lecolia F. Walker, both 40, were charged with dealing in a narcotic drug and possession of a narcotic drug through Lake Superior Court.
Lake Station undercover police on Monday set up a drug buy at a gas station at 15th Avenue near Interstate 65 in Gary, court documents state.
The undercover police officer bought heroin, and the driver, Lecolia Walker, and the passenger, Eugene Walker, were arrested by Lake Station police.
Both were taken into custody, court documents state.
