LAKE STATION | Spring has sprung at Bellaboo's Play and Discovery Center, the Lake County Parks and Recreation Department's children's center inside Three Rivers County Park, 2800 Colorado St.
Tickets are still on sale for "Eggs Marks the Spot: A Pirate Egg Hunt" from 5:30 to 8 p.m. March 28.
This is an after hours interactive theater experience with an egg hunt. Pirate costumes and reservations are required. Activities are designed for children 1 to 9.
Cost is $10 for first child ages 1 to 9 and $7.50 for each additional child in the same family, and $5 for those 10 and older, while children 12 months and younger attend free. Call (219) 963-2070.
Spring Break Mondays
Bellaboo's will be open regular hours Mondays, March 25 to April 8 for Spring Break Monday FUN Days.
Every Monday will feature a Beachy Bonus Activity at 1:30 p.m. Come beach ball bop, limbo and rock on Mondays.
Tumble & Play
Tumble & Play features a Tumblebear Gymnastics class and play day combo on Saturday mornings for eight weeks, April 13 to June 1.
The Parent & Tot gymnastics class, for children who are walking to age 3 meets from 9:15 to 9:50 a.m., and Preschool for children 3 to 5 meets from 10 to 10:35
Tuition is $115, with limited availability.
Bellaboo Bakers
This new Bellaboo Bakers program, Healthy Eating with Mother Earth, will be offered at 3:45 p.m. weekdays, April 8 to 26.
This program allows children to mix, measure and season their very own hummus. Children will learn about and use garden grown goodies to try their new treat.
