Horse loose on Interstate 94

Indiana State Trooper Eric Rot, left, and Lake Station firefighter Mike Schmitt keep a cold wet horse, Geraldo, hidden behind a sound barrier on I-94 east of I-65 Tuesday evening. The horse got away and ended up in traffic on the highway. According to State Troopers on the scene a woman who was driving by held the horse's head down after it had fallen to try to keep it calm. The owners showed up and retrieved the horse after troopers closed down the eastbound side for a short period of time.
