LAKE STATION | Lake Station Community School Corp. is participating in the Summer Food Service Program this year. Free meals are available to children 18 and younger.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals are being provided at the sites and times as follows:

  • Edison Jr./Sr. High School, 3304 Parkside Ave. - breakfast, 7:45 to 9 a.m.; lunch: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., weekdays through Aug. 6
  • Hamilton Elementary School, 2900 Lake St. - breakfast 9 to 10 a.m.; lunch: noon to 1 p.m., weekdays through Aug. 6
  • Lake Station Boys & Girls Club, 4700 Central Ave. - breakfast 8 to 9 a.m.; lunch: 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., weekdays through Aug. 6
  • Riverview Park, 2701 Ripley St. - breakfast 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.; lunch 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., weekdays through July 19
  • Bailey Elementary School, 2100 Union St. - breakfast 8 to 9 a.m.; lunch 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., weekdays through Aug. 6
