LAKE STATION | Belinda Stepnowski, family nutrition adviser from Purdue University, will speak at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lake Station-New Chicago branch of the Lake County Public Library, 2007 Central Ave.

Stepnowski will discuss a variety of food and nutrition topics for families.

She also will show show participants how to prepare quick, tasty and healthy low-cost foods.
