Tuesday's weather forced a host of cancellations and postponements, including the following. Check nwi.com/closings for additional school, government and business cancellations and closings.

HAMMOND: Purdue University Calumet’s Summer Programs Exhibition, originally scheduled to be held at 5 p.m., Tuesday has been postponed until 5 p.m. Friday.

LAKE STATION: Lake Station City Court canceled its 6 p.m. Tuesday session.

LANSING: St. John's Lutheran School in Lansing has postponed the band concert scheduled for tonight. A new date and time has yet to be announced.

MICHIGAN CITY: Michigan City boys basketball sectional Class 4A games set to be played Tuesday (Portage vs. Valparaiso and Chesterton vs. LaPorte) will be played today, a previously scheduled off day of the tournament.

MUNSTER: The Theatre at the Center's Acting Out I class on Tuesday was canceled.

WHEATFIELD: The Class 3A games at Kankakee Valley were postponed, moving Tuesday's previously scheduled two games to today. Kankakee Valley will play Andrean at 6 p.m. today, followed by Knox vs. Calumet at 7:30.

WINAMAC: The Class 2A games at Winamac also move to today, as North Judson will meet Winamac at 6:40 p.m. and North Newton will play Rochester at 8.
