LOWELL | The "Noisy Farm" storybook trail at Buckley Homestead County Park has been extended through the end of July.

Families with children are encouraged to visit the farm and enjoy the story.

Visitors should park in the lot on Hendricks Road and follow the trail. The story's introduction is displayed in the Visitor Center's window. Individual pages are posted along the path.

The park's offering was inspired by The StoryWalk Project.

Sandy Basala, superintendent of visitor services, said it meshes with the park department's purpose of encouraging families to get outdoors and reconnect with nature.
